My wife, Angela, was looking in our kitchen the other day and found this receptacle which was melting.  I am sure that the North Spartanburg Fire District and ME!!!! are thanking her for finding this because our house would have surely burnt down if this would have been left alone for sometime.  Who knows how long it had been happening.

The question you may be asking is….what caused this?  Any guesses?

Here is the culprit….

A Bath & Body Works Plug-In Wallflower smelly thing.  We have a fairly new home, it was built in 2003 and so the wiring has never caused us any problems.

So, check your plug-ins and make sure that they aren’t melting your receptacles and potentially causing major damage.

Needless to say, i threw all the Wallflower plug-ins away!!
